Yeah. Uh, did you get that memo?

It is somewhat fitting that I label this post under 'Career Day'. For those of you who lovingly follow me here, you know me well enough to see that my career is usually the least popular subject I share with you. (Don't get me wrong, I enjoy my career and feel extremely blessed to have it.) Although I spend majority of my time carrying out my job, what I do with my time outside of it is what fuels my performance.

So once again, I have to say that these past couple of months have been focused on my day job, with work that often spills outside the walls of my office. I wanted you to know that I have not forgotten about you. As matter of fact, I've missed you so. (I still owe a few of you a telephone call.) I also wanted to let you know that amidst my absence, I have managed to do little things here and there, which I hope to share with you in an upcoming winter newsletter. You and I will definitely have something to look forward to.

The best things in life are nearest: Breath in your nostrils, light in your eyes, flowers at your feet, duties at your hand, the path of right just before you. Then do not grasp at the stars, but do life's plain, common work as it comes, certain that daily duties and daily bread are the sweetest things in life. - Robert Louis Stevenson
