Ameet & Ally

Ameet and Allison (Ally) made a special visit one weekend. It was our first time meeting Ally and from the moment we said hello it was as if we've known her since we've known Ameet, that would be a long time. Suffice it to say we adored her and this weekend was the start of a beautiful friendship.

We met the nicest lavender farmers who's invited us to visit their farm this summer. Sooner than later as the lavenders are at their peak this early July. Can't wait!

Together Again

A lovely day for a stroll with the Rondeau Famille.  This was a happy day.  They'll be off to Florida shortly after this reunion while I'm off to California, but not to worry there will be fun times ahead when we both return to Linwood.

Market Day, Market Date

One of the simple pleasures of living in town is enjoying market day.  Although it's a rare occasion nowadays for Patrick to join me on my market stroll, we managed to sneak one date here this past summer.  (I still can't believe summer just came and went.)  I remember this morning well.  It was a cool day and the walk from home to the farmer's market was relaxing and sweet.  We took our time, albeit fifteen minutes of talking and holding hands.  These are the type of dates we often prefer and I certainly am up for it at any time.  Who can resist the fresh air, loving company, being with the community, and good food.  Yes, let's not forget the good and healthy food that the wonderful and hard working farmers provide for us.  They are a great blessing.

Coffee Break

I orchestrate my mornings to the tune of coffee.
Harry Mahtar
True. This has become my morning ritual this week. This cappuccino is made with strong smooth espresso and sweet creamy milk. The kind that must be sipped gently to appreciate the care that went into making it. Yummy isn't it? Cappuccino milk froth is such a delicate art and seeing this makes me start my day with smile.

It's been a long week and there's much more still to do... I think I'll take a break for a bit, so I'll catch-up with you all later...
Poutoux,
Michelle
