I took a quick peak at Brin's blog and discovered a song by JJ Heller. Please listen here... it's absolutely beautiful. On a cold night like tonight, that song certainly feels as if God just wrapped the softest and warmest blanket around my shoulder. (Thanks Brin for sharing and thanks Mr. & Mrs. Heller for the beautiful music.)

Trauma Burn crew bids another goodbye, this time to Leo. Hosted by lovely Kate, this evening proved to be another wonderful time for celebrating friendship with good food, good wine, and lots of laughter! Friendship isn't a big thing- it's a million little things. Author Unknown - So true...
October was an eventful month. It began with a road trip with my girlfriends, celebration with Leo and old friends, followed by our sixth annual fall fest, a happy halloween eve, and a nice date in town.
I always make a little treat for my favorite kids on the block.
A cold but lovely outing to Jenny's Farm and Market with the best of friends. Followed by a wonderful house warming gathering at Louis and Betty's new home, just a stone's throw away from our house on the hill! We're so happy they are finally home and what a beautiful home they have. Lastly, three very adorable Trick or Treaters: Marcella, Marek, and Stella. We always anticipate their arrival on halloween. It was a great night having given out loads of candies to countless joyful kids. (Wish I took pictures of all of their fantastic costumes.)
I do not mean for this blog to take the place of old fashioned communication. Telephone calls and hand-written notes are always a delight to give and receive. However, with my increasingly busy schedule, it is not often that I'm able to do these things. This is my way of keeping in touch with you from over 2000 miles away...
Welcome! I hope you enjoy your visit here. My door is always open.
Embraces, Michelle
P.S.
By the way, noticing the slight increase on the count of hits on this site, I'd like to think that there may be anonymous visitors who stop by here too. So just in case, this may be a good time to say, "hello" and extend my welcome!
Come over and stay awhile
