Big Bash

A very happy day. We were fortunate to have been able to be with the family (Thanks to Papa Willie and Mama Grace) to celebrate Papa's Big 6-0, Kuya Dohn's graduation, and Kyla's 1st Communion. This was a great weekend with pictures that truly speak a thousand words. No need for much narration here. Just loads of love and laughter!

I spy Bella Swan.

It's like an iPhone Ad.

Happy Birthday Papa...
and a Happy Father's Day too!

Para Sa Iyo (For You)

When we first talked to each other
I knew we would always be friends...
We can't forget the fun we've had
Laughing 'til our faces turn blue.
Talking of things only we find funny
People think we're insane- If they only knew!

This is truly a treasured cook book. It's no ordinary cook book. This book was hand picked, highly scrutinized, wrapped with the utmost care, and traveled across the Pacific Ocean. It will serve as my guide to rediscovering my roots-- my favorite foods. Maraming salmat Ate Delsa! Really.

End of Gus

One main reason for my long absence here. My beloved Gus-the-jeep is no more. While driving in bad weather condition to visit Ameet, Gus and I hydroplaned in the highway crashing in the median. THANK GOD I escaped unharmed (just minor bruises), sadly Gus did not. He was a good, reliable, and brave jeep. We had fun plans in the future-- pimp my ride kinda plans... Too bad he didn't live long enough to see his makeover.

In light of the accident, the weekend visit called for a low key time. I rested a lot, had a nice dinner out, and enjoyed Ameet's new Lakeshore Drive neighborhood.

Got to drive this cute little rental for a while. As much as I love tiny cars, I miss driving a jeep. I miss Gus.
