Day 3: Chateau de Versailles (Marie Antoinette's bed below), dinner with friend Pierre at La Maree Verte, and watching cafe spectators watch the Rugby World Cup live in Paris that evening.

Day 4: Notre Dame, Saint-Ouen, Sacre Coeur, dinner with friends Justine and Aurelie, Cafe de Flore, and late night bike ride in Paris.

Audrey

Lovable, adorable Audrey in Roman Holiday.  I was thrilled to have visited the sights from this movie.  Our hotel was located just above and to the right of this view of the Spanish Steps.  Feeling run-down from our busy daily agenda, I spent my last day in Rome sick leaving my company to spend the last full day exploring without me.  We did attempt to rendez-vous at the Bocca della Verita also known as the Mouth of Truth below, but they didn't make it there.  It was quite alright... By the mid afternoon, I managed to get myself out of bed, made a new friend, Emiliano whose cab took me the the church of Santa Maria in Cosmedin (where the the Mouth of Truth is hung), strolled the streets until it lead me to the Colloseum. Oh, and yes I did put my hand in the Bocca della Verita.  My hand is still in tact!

Day 2: We arrived the night before, so Day 1 was spent resting in our rooms and watching the view of the bustling street below.  Piazza di Spagna, Pantheon, Citta del Vaticano (us girls went to pick-up our Papal Audience tickets), Piazza Navona (while moms hung out in our meeting place) and Fontana di Trevi.  

Roman Holiday Day 3

Day 3: Citta del Vaticano, St. Peter's Basilica and Pope Benedict XVI.  It was in incredible and emotional time for all of our mums. (A wish come true for Mama Delia.) That late night was spent in our hotel room being silly and saying goodbye to our friend, Andrei. (Buon giorno Andre! Thanks for your mail and thinking of us--- a year later!)
