The road from Paris to La Rochelle led us to Rochefort to the Rondeau family. We were welcomed by Nicolas, Christina, Emma, and Tigra and were completely overjoyed. Being under the roof of their new home made us feel as if we were still back at home in the U.S., enjoying each other's company as always. We all looked at each other in awe; we're really here!
Oh, and what's for dinner? A delicious and festive array of meats, cheese, and potatoes sizzling on a hibachi grill. With a bottle of bubbly and wine, our first night called for a celebration of friendship.
