Bella & Edward, In Style MagazineTwilight the movie premiers at midnight. (Glad to make it home just in time for my date with Edward.)
1. Barack Obama. President-elect Obama is a rock star. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, he can be found on the television, newspapers, city posters, and is the buzz of the locals.
2. Tall Boots. Every Parisienne is in full force with their fall fashion, from trendy coats down to their boots. I don't believe we saw anyone outdoors who isn't wearing a handsome pair of tall leather boots.
3. Skinny Jeans. Both men and women love their skinny jeans here in the city. It goes hand in hand with the tall boots.
4. Oversized Scarves. Everyone were wrapped in warm large cozy-looking scarves, fit for runaway shows.
5. Twilight (Fascination). Yes, they heart Edward Cullen too! Although we didn't notice any movie posters, the bookstores and newspapers covered Twilight mania!

p.s. Thanks for the fashion tips straight from the streets of Paris. (Tall boots, check. Big scarves, hmmm. Skinny jeans, uh I don't think so!)
Twilight midnight show was a blast! We arrived an hour early to secure our seats in the movie theater. We were surrounded by a an ocean of teens. They made it so much fun to watch Edward and Bella. We all thought the movie was great, only because we knew what the characters were thinking in every scene. Reading the book is definitely a pre-req. before seeing the movie. It makes for a more enjoyable experience.
As for the fashion tips, I cringed at the thought of being able to wear skinny jeans too. I like being comfy and making room for my tummy. : )
